The actress, who recently split from singer John Mayer, was on her way to meet director Woody Allen for lunch as she showed off her new gold and jade ring.

Jennifer and John started dating in April before the pair parted ways last month, with John quoting 'chemistry differences' as the reason.

The Friends star recently told The Daily Express that she visits a therapist to straighten out her heart.

She said: "It's true that I spent some time regularly taking part in sessions with a psychiatrist.

"By the way, I find it to be very normal to lie on a couch every once in a while and to let your head be straightened out. And your heart."

The 39-year-old looked smart as she headed out to her meeting with the famed director in a pinstripe jacket and smart-cut jeans.
